Post-It w/ FCKH8

Racism, homophobia, and sexism run rampant in our world (that’s right--even still in 2019!). It’s up to us to end that hate. Together, FCK H8 and Post-it team up to create transit posters that both inform and propose your casual hate is still hate. Just because you have a black friend doesn’t mean you can use the “N” word. When you get too familiar with your male friend and you throw your hands up, crying, “No homo!” you’re perpetuating that it’s not okay to be gay. When a woman gets angry, it doesn’t mean she’s on her period.

In our Post-It note billboard ads, we strive to share nothing but love in our Write with Pride campaign, partnered with FUCK H8.

In the transit ads, there is a compiled list of casual comments people might not believe are an issue, but deeply affect how others are viewed in our society. On top, Post-It notes are slapped down to demand the point that “You’re not being cute, you’re being sexist” or that racism ISN’T funny.

In the billboard ads, I cut pieces of paper into squares and arranged them into a heart and a rainbow to photograph for this campaign.
